With Chardom thrown into chaos, a new Tykusha is brought forth to restore balance. Bryn must call upon the residents of the land to stand with her against Arsa, the lupe who devoured the god of choice, Aiderna.
But the residents are skeptical... There has not been a Tykusha for well over a century, and tales of the previous one still scars the land.
Bryn must make a stand against Arsa and bring peace back to the land before it falls apart from the ground up. Gods and all...
Sil is an envoy of the god Aiderna. As such, he relays messages from her and the other gods to others. He is clear spoken with proper annunciation (he does not speak in contractions!). He is slightly judgemental and sarcastic at times, but it most often aligns with interference of his message deliveries.
For Sil, I am looking for a well-spoken masculine voice. Think of how a casual speaker would explain a general narrative to you, and the ideal rhythm and tone you expect with it. His voice dances around being monotone.
0 "(Casual) It would be best for me to pass along the rest of my message without an extra set of ears present."
1 "(Matter of fact) Of course.
(Quickly) Not that we envoys cannot properly relay messages, just sometimes Aiderna likes to listen in."
2 "(Mumbled, slightly annoyed) Talk about timing..."
Ordenn is a supporting antagonist who has a history with Sorenn. He has a lot of underlying rage within him and it has turned him bitter and cynical. He functions as Arsa's assistant, but even then he is skeptical of Arsa's behaviors and actions.
For Ordenn, I am looking for a deep, raspy toned masculine voice. Ordenn is not evil, but he is not good either, and his vocal tone should reflect how his rage has altered his personality and behaviors.
0 "(Mild annoyance, curiosity) Who comes down to Tynran this late at night?"
1 "(Underlying horror) What was that? What did you do?"
2 "(Angry, borderline yelling) They saw me as the problem, Sorenn. No matter what I did, it was never good enough. Not like how they saw you."
Arsa is the primary antagonist of the series. He is manipulative and only cares for himself and what he can gain. He is motivated by revenge and a deep hatred for the gods.
For Arsa, I am looking for a mid-toned masculine voice. He is almost always expressing some form of contemptuous or mocking tone, and he is very sly in his mannerisms and behavior.
0 "(Mock sincerity) What was the reason for your travels here, my friend?"
1 "(Cunning) That was our ticket to finding the Tykusha."
2 "(Mocking) Oh, I'm fully aware you will. (Informative) Seek out the great central grande. You'll know what to do when you get there."
Apex is a lead protagonist of the series. He is nervous and anxious, and easily swayed by others opinions. He will often take things at face value instead of analyzing them further. Deep down, he just wants to be able to get along with others.
For Apex, I am looking for a mid-high pitch masculine voice. Apex is a transgender man, and thus I am looking specifically for trans-masc voice actors to portray his character.
0 "(In awe) I....I don't feel it anymore... (gracious, quickly spoken) Thank you. Oh, thank you thank you thank you!"
1 "(Scared) Please, I assure you I mean no harm. I was just passing by!"
2 "(Casual, in awe) The trees are so different here than in the south. There's so much green, and so many open plains... It's really beautiful when you get to take it all in."
Sorenn is the adoptive father of the main protagonist, Bryn. He is supportive and protective of her and her role as the Tykusha. He's a fun-loving character that tries to keep the mood upbeat and positive when he can.
For his voice, I am looking for a mid-deep ranged father figure tone. He should sound like someone who has experienced life and knows how to keep optimism high.
Actors with voices that might not fit this are still free to apply, as I am open to hearing other interpretations of his character!
0 "(Startled) GAH! What the-
(Calming down, patient) Oh, it's just you. Little one, you have to stop waking me up like that."
1 "(Reassuring) I know it's a lot, but the gods wouldn't give us something we can't handle. It doesn't mean it'll be easy, but we'll get it done."
2 "(Calmly) I understand your frustration, but it's where we have to start.
(Soft spoken, supportive) You got back-up this time. Plus, the reason they're wanting us to go there first is because the Creator Lo apparently has a surprise for you there."
