Knowledge Network is producing short segments for our on-air fundraising campaign that require a variety of voice talent. We receive letters from donors that we add the voice-over to go with visual letters written on-screen. The voice-over segments are always under 1 minute, and mostly under 30 seconds. TNew segments are produced on an ongoing basis as there are three campaigns throughout the year. Segments are re-used over multiple campaigns.
The read should be natural and down-to-earth not straight voice-over or a commercial read. It should come across as a person's thoughts as they write the letter with some emotion. We are looking for both genders and a variety of ages and ethnicities. If you can do more than one type of voice or age feel free to submit as many options as you like, as long as they sound natural. We are especially interested in older-sounding voices, from middle-aged to seniors with Canadian, American, British, Irish, Scottish and Australian accents. Though all accents and ages are welcome.
