Audition Description

Welcome to Ruffington, a place where everyone is family, and everyone is certainly a friend to Rino the Dog. Life in your 20's can be tough, and for Rino, it's definitely no walk in the park. And man, don't we all love those! In this happy town of friends, everyone is mucking through the sticky parts of life, and everyone needs help from time to time. Come explore as Rino and his friends attempt the rigorous act of adulting as best they can in Rino the Dog!

While most other internet cartoons rely on profanity and dirty jokes for their humor, and also tend to have no life lessons or substance to their stories, we strive to provide a wholesome, clean experience for all ages to enjoy. The purpose of RINO is to provide a funny and clean family show with positive morals to take away from that kids and adults alike can benefit from.

PAY
It will be reoccurring paid work estimated around $100 - $150 per episode. Rates are affected in your favor for the more characters you are hired to voice.

  • Role #1 - Rachel

    Rino and Rex's neighbor. One of the main characters.

    Personality: Rachel is Rino's neighbor who loves to stay active and is very adventurous. She loves being competitive, whether it be sports, board games or video games. She strives to be number 1 in everything she does. She wants to experience and do everything and doesn't care if it sounds impossible. She often joins in with Rino, Rex and Rover whenever they go to the movies or do any social events. Because of her nature of being a big dreamer and ambitious personality, she can be very motivating to others and knows how to get Rino's head back on straight when he's discouraged. Hobbies/Interests: Jogging, thrill seeking, sports

    Favorite things: The dog park

    Family/Friends: Rino, Rex, Rover.

    Mayor of the town Personality: Confident yet humble. She's always kind to everyone in the city. Infront of her citizens she is always charismatic and confident. Behind the scenes, she struggles to keep things together, but she always finds a way. She's stressed out because of all the things she has on her plate. Regardless, she has an undying passion to make the city as great as it can be, even if her plate at times isn't big enough. Whenever she is at a loss on what to do, Rino usually provides her with the best advice, which also tends to be the easiest and simplest solution. Usually pertaining to looking at things from the citizen's perspective and putting others first.

    Hobbies/Interests: You'll find her constantly staying busy. She loves being busy.

    Favorite things: No joke, her favorite things are her citizens. She can at times be found randomly checking on her citizens at their houses.

    Family/Friends: Secretary, Roberty, Remington.

    Msc. Information: Is always working on a project to improve the city.

    [Stressing out] "They're all counting on me and I don't know what I'm going to do! So please, just leave me be so I can come up with a solution!"

    News Co-Anchor

    Personality: Very smart and witty. Well spoken. Occasionally sarcastic and when not on the air, she's more of a recluse. She never really agrees with Roberty on anything and they can at times seem like polar opposites. She values her alone time, but she's not shy. She knows what she wants and she's not afraid to let everyone know. She speaks her mind. Hobbies/Interests: Reading her favorite magazine. Watching her favorite shows on Rufflix. Favorite things: Her automated foot massager. Family/Friends: Roberty.

    NOTE 1: When on air, she uses a very proper and professional American accent. Typical news broadcaster sound. As soon as she is off air, she has a strong Latina accent and feisty personality. She essentially has 2 different Voices.

    NOTE 2: I would prefer her to be voiced by someone who is hispanic, or someone who can speak fluent Spanish.

    [American News Caster voice] "In other news, our town's goodest dog Rino, just helped over 30 elderly citizens cross the street today! Stick around to hear all about it after this." (yes, 'Goodest' was on purpose)

    [In her Natural Latina accent with attitude] "What are you doing Roberty, you crazy dog! Why would you ask me out on live television!?"

    [Latina accent] "Well…. I had my doubts about going on this date with you but… you actually did pretty good!"

    Msc. Information: Her name is never actually said within the show. 'Karen' is an internet meme and her personality is based on it. It is implied through various hints that her name is 'Karen'.
