Casting the trailer for "Scenes From My Life " an upcoming digital series.

A former television producer gathers the pieces of her life together after having a nervous breakdown. The entire series will be filmed from a first person POV and the story itself will be told through the supporting cast narrators' dialogue with the cast and inner monologue.

  • Role #1 - Yoga Instructor

    This is a role from a former VH1 docu-reality series "Audrina", based on the family and life of "The Hills: New Beginnings" stars' life beyond THE HILLS of Hollywood and her roots of Orange County. In the series, Audrina took her mom to work out and every movement that the instructor demonstrated Audrina performed very swan-like and her mother who is in exceptional shape as well noticeable struggles. The role of the yoga instructor doesn't have to a specific look, but should practice some form of yoga and can simulate the role of an instructor.

    This role is based on the writer's 3rd boss out of school. The writer worked for a small production company based in the Washington, DC area owned by a former news producer who was a bit rough around the edges. The owner was gifted the company by her second husband, a self-made millionaire and deputy managing editor for the money section of USA Today. She survived an abusive first marriage which produced a son, but also made her very hard on the inside. She was very eccentric and even though she subscribes to the Washington, DC business look, her suits are always accentuated with long, heavily decorated nails, a wig, weave or long blonde-highlighted braids, and a very foul mouth. In the scene within this trailer, she is cursing out the writer for seeking payment for the cinematographers that are sub-contracted by the company. After receiving numerous complaints about not being paid by the owner, the writer speaks directly to the accounting department to clear up the matter.

    This role is based on a character from the a former SoapNet docu-reality series "Holidate". The series was based on the film "The Holiday", where two women would swap cities and homes for a week and date 3 of the other woman's friends during that time because they have been unlucky in love in their hometown and this city swap is there last chance at finding "the one". At the end of the week, each woman would provide the date of her choice with a plane ticket to come and visit her in her hometown to see if the spark could ignite a flame. The Man On A Date is one of the dates from an LA/Atlanta swap where an LA-based Sundance Film Festival exec swapped with an actress from Atlanta and had a chance to go on 3 romantic dates planned by her ATL counterpart. The Man On A Date has swag, charm, quick wit and is a Prince Charming.

    This role is based on the writer's executive producer on the BET documentary series "American Gangster". The writer shared with him that she had been sexually assaulted by one of the subjects of an episode and he expresses to her that she is the producer they send out to meet male subjects specifically because she is easy on the eyes. This is pre-#METOO and #TIMESUP, so the lines were very blurred back then. He is stoic Caucasian male who is nice on the surface and vindictive underneath.
