This role involves developing, researching, storyboarding, producing, and editing video and animated multimedia products to advance HRW's global advocacy objectives. The Producer Editor will transform complex ideas into visually compelling content, adhering to the highest journalistic practices and HRW's editorial standards. Collaboration with HRW researchers and divisions is essential for developing multimedia communication plans for reports and advocacy. The position also includes actively monitoring social media for breaking news and trending topics, managing content distribution, and overseeing colleagues and consultants producing multimedia content worldwide. HRW is an international human rights research and advocacy organization renowned for its in-depth investigations, incisive reporting, innovative advocacy campaigns, and success in influencing human rights policies and practices globally.
