Audition Description

Peephole is a thriller/mystery following Caroline, a former CSIS agent that has spent a decade profiling criminal behaviour for the Canadian government. As she investigates her neighbour Kikoko, her motives become less clear while she digs desperately for something more sinister. Caroline's biases result in her losing touch with reality, eventually leading to her arrest. Her unhinged obsession has unintended consequences and ultimately reveals more about Caroline than her neighbour.

    LEAD: Former government security agent, disgracefully discharged. Chinese Canadian. Now that she's lost everything, Caroline shuts out the world around her, becoming obsessed with a crime that might not exist, causing her mental stability to crumble, confusing reality and fiction. Her agent mentality becomes delusional after losing her job, leading to monitor her neighbour, Kikoko.
