Audition Description

While attending a friend's gig (Julia), Mason is impatiently waiting for his close friend Ali to arrive. Just as the show is about to start, Ali finally reaches, but he is under the influence of marijuana. Tension rises between the two as they begin to argue. Ali leaves, heading for door while Mason follows close behind. Just as they get outside to an ally, the fight quickly escalates. During the argument, Ali pulls out a needle and begins to inject himself with a drug. This causes him to faint leaving Mason in shock, and unable to call for help.

Shooting Day: February 1ST, 2020 (TBD)

Casting And Production Comments:
Storyline deals with aspects of drug use
There will be a syringe with fake needles on set
Food and drinks will be provided
The shoot will take 3-4 hours

  • Role #1 - Mason

    Lead Role. An average teenager, who keeps up with his appearance as not to fall behind on society. Mason believes in upholding a good community standard and makes sure he follows it. Since kindergarten, Mason has grown up alongside his best friend Ali. Mason was always the follower between the two, however as high school came around, Ali changed for the worse in Mason's eyes. This is when Mason realized that Ali began distancing himself from him. Mason has unrequited feelings for his friend Julia who he supports by attending her performance. 23-27 lines. 2 scenes.

However, once they started high school, Ali noticed that Mason would behave like the other students. He realized that their friendship was coming to an end and took it upon himself to end it sooner than later, without letting Mason know. 15 - 18 lines, 2 scenes.
