Audition Description

Aaliyah Shaw receives the last spot in a prestigious School for the Arts but quickly learns that being accepted isn't the same thing as being welcomed. With his popularity and status in the school taking a big hit because of Aaliyah, the big-man-on-campus, Chase Sophos, makes it his goal to take her down at every turn. Her situation quickly grows even more problematic when she catches the eye of another young man, Spencer Caprio, with many issues of his own. Her new world is turned completely upside down as she tries to make sense of all the things happening around her. She learns fast that being smart is not the same as knowing everything. Her academic career, her innocence and possibly even her life are threatened as Aaliyah makes her way through the day to day reality of being "accepted" at Halstead Prep.
