Feeling Static is a short LGBT + fantasy/romance film that combines live action footage with 2D animation to create a unique take on a character's emotions. It stars Alex, a young woman auditioning for a role in a Shakespeare play, trying to romance Eden; her casting director. Animations follow Alex around, crawling all over her and expressing her anxiety. Eden can't see this, and just sees Alex giving a strange performance. Eden is intelligent and well-put together, contrasting Alex's messy and chaotic personality. Will Alex be able to romance her and get the part?
