The Night Jaguar is a neo-noir thriller that asks what lengths people will go to for success. Adam and Adriana, two washed-up filmmakers in a dysfunctional relationship, fly to the Guadalajara film festival in hopes of financing their next feature. They meet Alvarez and Chen, two suspiciously generous people who want to fund the movie. However, asking where their money comes from only unravels a deeper and more treacherous web of secret societies and organized crime. The Night Jaguar takes the sexy and suspenseful brilliance of a movie like Eyes Wide Shut, and sets it in modern day Guadalajara, Mexico.
