Audition Description

Now casting for the lead role in "Nixie's Final Journey," a movie that will be shot in various spats around Atlanta during December. 99 percent improvised. Looking for a skilled singer, musician, and improvisational actress.

Nixie the elf is one thousand years old. Upon the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve, her body will turn to dust, and she will die. She spends her last few days traversing the streets of Atlanta, singing madrigals, giving gifts, and telling stories. Her journey is faithfully recorded by a blogger who films her honest interactions with people.

  • Role #1 - Nixie

    Nixie, high princess of the Alfar (the Norse word for elves). She has more in common with the elves of Middle-Earth than with those guys who bake the cookies in the treehouse. Picture a young nimble Galadriel. Nixie's father is the light of the dawn, and her mother is the moonlight breeze. Nixie is full of otherworldly mirth and wisdom. She loves to share magic with humans, but she is burdened with the knowledge of her impending death.

07-02-06 Booked Yahoo.com commercial in the first month! We have been using Explore Talent for less than a month and have gotten several auditions.
