This position supervises and assists, as needed, visiting theater companies with house systems and equipment during show calls and evening technical calls including load in and load out, and is the venueâ€™s primary advocate for the venueâ€™s needs during their work hours. Supervises HVAC, fire alarm, fire safety, and security systems and other aspects of the physical plant, including but not limited to waste disposal, cleanliness and tidiness of public and backstage areas during their work hours. Conducts or assists on a regular basis sorting, inventory, maintenance and cleaning tasks. Maintains a professional, courteous, and helpful attitude towards colleagues and visiting companies at all times. Reports directly and regularly to the Production Manager.
-Working knowledge of ETC Ion with basic set up and programming skills.
-Working knowledge of QLab 4 with basic set up and programming skills.
-Basic knowledge of theatrical lighting, audio, projection, Clear Com, and network troubleshooting skills
-Detail oriented regarding space maintenance, cleanliness and organization
-Tact and composure under pressure
-A willingness to get their hands dirty and handle-facilities related issues as they arise.
-This job works nights and weekends. Currently Sunday and Monday as days off.
Wage: $29.00/hr. Normally 40 hours per week, this is a full-time position including benefits
