Audition Description

Think Harry Potter crossed with Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Ross Hansen is taken by his parents who have returned after a 13 year absence from his life to a magical high school known as Oceans High for Weavers so that he can learn to hone his magical abilities. While there, he encounters all of the things that high school offers while also fighting off a power-hungry Weaver known as Jordan Kasenine notorious for his mastery of his Weaver craft.

Before being taken by his parents to a magical high school, was very involved in his high school's theatre program and was president of the Drama club. His parents had left him when he was four to go protect various magical artifacts around the world for 13-14 years. Roughly 5'9" with a slim build. Has hazel eyes, freckles, and brown, curly hair that is usually unkempt. He generally wears flannel button ups with jeans in winter colors (think whites, greys, and lots of blues). He just wants to get through life unscathed and doesn't want to be put on a pedestal or in the spotlight unless it's on his terms.

Radiates bisexual energy but doesn't wear flannel. She can be seen wearing a lot of fall colors (think reds, yellows, and oranges even when they aren't in season). Loves to listen to music, especially weird indie bands no one has ever heard of. She simply wants to graduate from magical high school and get her life on track to success.

He wants to graduate magical high school to become a magical botanist.

His identifying feature is his heterochromia; one of his eyes is brown and one is blue. He wears contacts to cover this when in disguise to color his blue eye brown or his brown eye blue. He has auburn hair and can often be seen wearing jeans and a t-shirt when in disguise. He is very much full of himself and wants to take control of all magic to bring the magical community into its next age, which will likely involve taking out anyone who stands in his way.
