Audition Description

Shakespeare got away with a lot of shit, and in his time women weren't allowed onstage to represent themselves. Why not turn the tables and watch women have a go at this tale of toxic gender norms? And while we're at it, why not gut the script and flip it on its head? We present America's finest all-female Shakespeare troupe, forced to tell a story they all want to shred apart.

Please prepare one Shakespearean and one Contemporary monologue to present at auditions, totaling no more than 5 minutes to complete both. The remaining 5 minutes will be for play and questions if needed.
