The Rocky reboot film, Creed is now ramping up production in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and now, they are seeking talents to work on certain scenes for the upcoming film.
Creed will be starred by Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan and will be directed by Ryan Coogler. As a continuation of the Rocky franchise, Jordan will act as the grandson of Apollo Creed while Stallone will reprise the role of the retired fighter-turned trainer, Rocky Balboa.
The film centers on the Apollo Creed’s grandson, a young man who isn’t really allowed by his family to fight the way his undisputed heavyweight champion grandfather did. Eventually, he discovers that he has the natural gifts of becoming a heavyweight champion and follows the footsteps of his grandfather. The young man then turns to Rocky Balboa. Though Rocky isn’t really the main protagonist of the story, he will still have a supporting role.
Casting directors are now looking for real life boxers to fill in principal roles for MGM’s feature film. Talents who wish to learn more about the casting can get more casting information and notices here.
As of now, there is no specific release date for the film Creed, but it’s likely heading for a 2015 or a 2016 release date.
