New WGN Series ‘Outsiders’ Casting Call for Talents

Holly Bissonnette| May 20, 2015

Casting directors are currently seeking for a 9- to 13-year-old girl to play a featured role in WGN’s upcoming series Outsiders.

Starring Joe Anderson (Hannibal) and Kyle Gallner (Veronica Mars), Outsiders will revolve around the Appalachian Farrell family who lives off-grid and above the law in a mountaintop homestead. They will do everything to the extremes just to protect the way of life that they built for themselves.

In light of this matter, they are looking for a young blond girl of a Caucasian descent to be cast as a featured extra in a mountain scene, which will be shot in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, they are also looking for a Caucasian female in her mid-20s to early 30s for a featured background role whose name is Annalivia.

You will work on a scene in Townsfolk, instead of the mountaintop.

Also, they are seeking for a Caucasian male between the ages of 30 and 60 years old who can portray the character of Jiminy, the outsider of the mountain who doesn’t share the same features as the Farrel clan. They are seeking for someone who has eccentric and unique features.

They also want to cast a male from the ages of 30 to 60 years with the height of 5′ 1” or less for a non-speaking extra role.

You are expected to work multiple days over the course of five months for the new series and will be paid $150 per twelve working hours.

Deadline for the submission of your application is on June 19, 2015.
