Same Kind of Different As Me, starring Samuel L. Jackson, is now casting extras to fill-in several background roles.
The film is an adaptation of a best-selling book about the intersecting life journeys of a wealthy Dallas art dealer named Ron Hall and an ex-con drifter named Denver Moore. Moore lived a life of hardship and homelessness and on the other hand, Hall actively volunteered in a meals program.
With the help of Ron’s wife, Deborah, both became close friends. As the story goes deeper, the two men of different upbringing struggle to maintain their friendship.
Filming will soon start in Jackson, Mississippi on October to mid December this year and casting directors are looking for extras of varying ethnicities to fill in various roles. They are looking for talents who could play the roles of homeless men/women, mourners, congregation members, pallbearers, nurses, prison guards, sharecroppers and other extra roles. If interested in any of these roles, check casting information and requirements here.
The feature film Same Kind of Different as Me is slated for a 2015 release date.
