HBO’s Joe Paterno Film Starring Al Pacino Now Casting

The HBO Joe Paterno original film is now casting child actors to work alongside Academy Award–winning Actor Al Pacino. Filming is scheduled to start on August 16 to August 24 in New York City.

The movie’s plot follows Joe Paterno (played by Al Pacino), one of the most celebrated coaches in college football history. At the height of his career, Paterno finds himself embroiled in Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal, which places his entire career on the line.

Casting directors are looking for child actors to play the following roles:

  • Child siblings—9–11 year old siblings, Caucasian and brown-haired
  • Pool siblings—any of the following: small 6-year-old boy, 8-year-old-boy, 10-year-old boy and girl, 13-year-old girl. All must be okay with swimming and jumping into a pool.
