Cable network EPIX is about to launch a whole new crime drama series in 2019, and casting directors of the highly anticipated show are looking for talents who will take on featured roles.
Starring Forest Whitaker, God of Harlem will focus on the events following the release of crime boss Bumpy Johnson after spending a decade in prison. Johnson returns to his town only to find it in shambles and discovers its streets are now being ruled by an Italian mob. Johnson then seeks to regain control over the place and later forms allegiance with a radical preacher. The alliance places Johnson in the middle of a political disputes and mob war that puts the city in danger.
Casting directors of God of Harlem are seeking ten talents (men and women) to take on different ongoing roles throughout the season. Applicants must be African American and are 18 to 60 years old.
A female photo double is also sought. An African American woman standing 4’8″ to 4’11” is needed for this part.
