Fox’s TV Pilot ‘The Exorcist’ Now Casting

TV network Fox is casting in Chicago, Illinois, for a new TV pilot called The Exorcist.

Many different roles for the upcoming show are being cast. Filming will start on March 8 and go on through March 31. Casting directors are looking for kids, teenagers, families, former priests, and various other individuals to fill the featured roles.

The Exorcist TV pilot is based on the 1973 book of the same name by William Peter Blatty. It will be a modern reboot of the horror thriller. It follows two men who are trying to solve a case of demonic possession.

The following roles are  being cast:

Passengers on the L Train

Casting is for males and females of all ethnicities, but primarily African American/ Hispanic between ages 18 and 75.\

Former Priests

Role is looking for males aged between 40 to 80, can be Caucasian, Hispanic, European, or ethnically ambiguous.

Altar Boys

Should be male of African American/Hispanic etinicity, aged between 12 and 14 years.


Should be male or female of Hispanic or African American descent, aged between 40 and 65 years.


Male of African American descent between the ages of 12 and 14.


Woman of African American ethnicity aged between 32 and 45.


Male or female of African American ethnicity aged between 6 to 8.

Homeless Man

Male of Caucasian descent between 50 to 60 years old. For this role, your hair may be temporarily dyed. Please confirm in the submission if you are agreeable to that.

Mother and Child

Hispanic woman who is breastfeeding.
