The business began to get very frustrating for him when the industry got to the point where if actors didn’t have a tape of a roll that was similar to the roll they were casting for, no matter if the actor had over 20 years experience, they weren’t considered for the part. He also didn’t like working scale +10 because the commission was not enough for him to survive on, and the studios were trying to cut the agents commission.
