Tyler Holman's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience

About Me: Hello all! My name is Tyler Holman. I work at Starbucks full-time as a shift manager. I also go to school at Lakeland College. I was part-time, but after being considered for a scholarship, which requires the student to be full-time, I switched over. Kinda nervous about the work load, but bring it on. I'm down for free schooling! I'm going to school for the arts. I was recently in Lakeland College's annual art exhibition, and won some awards, as well as a job. Lakeland College hired me to paint around campus!

Besides art and schooling, I have a hobby of writing screenplays. I actually wrote a feature-length story, which I'm currently trying to sell. I'm also writing two other ones. Oh, And I also live in Sheboygan, WI ! haha.

Short Resume: I received semi-finalist placement for the Amteur Photography Contest held by picture.com. My entry for the 2007 Charles Schulz Cartoon Art Scholarship Competition held by the Art Instruction Schools placed as a finalist, which judged to be in the top 10% of 250 entries. I also received a Merit Certificate for my participation in the 2007 Annual Art Competition held by the Art Instruction Schools.

I have appeared in three exhibitions while attending Lakeland College, which is a challenge for every student to get into. Although I did not receive any award for the first exhibition, I was awarded three honorable mentions and one third-place placement within the following two exhibitions.

I also have a picture on display in Starbucks. It has been displayed for 5-6 months. I'll be replacing the picture today (6.9.2012) with another.

EXPERIENCE:

Studio Arts:
I have worked with oils, watercolor, and acrylic paints. I have explored advanced aspects of drawing, using mediums like black and white pastels, pen and ink (and ink wash), conte crayon, charcoal, and graphite pencil. I’ve worked with clay, plaster and plaster cloth, wire, and foam core to create a variety of sculptures that are appealing from every angel.

Computer:
I have a brief teaching on photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.

Project: Painting Lakeland College
I was hired by Lakeland College to not only go around campus and "touch-up" aspects of the grounds that have taken weatherly abuse, but to also paint bricks on unsightly fire escape doors.

Script Writing:
I have written a 83 page, polished, feature-length script, which I am currently trying to sell. I am also in the process of writing two other screenplays.

Acting:
I'm very interested and think I'd do well! But, as of right now, I don't have any experience. Give me a shot! If you happen to be interested, send me a portion of the script you would like me to read and I'll record myself!

Modeling:
Again, I don't have any experience, other than taking pictures of myself, but I think I'd do an awesome job. I never give up and I listen well. I'm highly interested.

Music:
I have experience with the software "Garage Band." It's an easy fix for the desire of being in a band.
