Tyler Burleson's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience
Rapper/Poet Geno of Hayward CA is a refreshing rap lyricist who uses his gift to create intelligent, considerate poetry with a range of styles within, but all rooted in spreading social consciousness. Songs like “Bittersweet Poetry” shows Geno is beyond the monotonous sound and subjects in mainstream songs played today. He’s been in the music industry since he was 7-8 years old. Taking a serious step toward a musical career around the age of 16. He became more influenced and closer to music which only intensified his curiosity of seeing how far he’d be able to take it and change it. Like many artist Geno’s lyrics are inspired by life itself. From past events that have occurred in his life along with present issues and future events that are destined to pass.
Geno’s music targets audiences between the ages of 13-30. He’s inspired to help push the younger generation to do better in life and to make something of themselves. While hoping to bring focus and attention to the mature crowd on the issues and struggles that teens are faced with in this generation. His music is positive straight from the heart. Making you feel things deep down inside that you may have not known existed had you not heard his music. A uplifting vibe to help people understand the effect of whats going on in the world today along with showing them that with hard work and determination you’re able to achieve whatever your life goals may be.
With a very interesting background coming from a place where he’s felt pain, love and pressure, its those exact emotions that separates Geno from other rap artists. But Geno is humbled to be compared to the musical style of Drake. He’s inspired by the way Drake expresses his musical talents through words, which are more powerful than music. Geno is inspired by many other well respected artists in the game such as Jay-z, The roots, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Adelle, The Fugees. If the opportunity presented itself he would be honored to work with producers Kanye West or Noah “40″ Shebib (producer for Drake’s album “Take Care).
Geno believes that expressions through rap music isn’t meant to be seen negatively, and that unfortunate stereotype is due to highly publicized artists in the media such as lil Wayne, Young Gotti, and Birdman who are self proclaimed gang members. But if you look deeper you can find similar artists with a deeper connection to music such as Young Jeezy, who also says he’s a gangster but raps about political issues at hand that affects us all. All music sends a message whether it perceived negative or positive it depends on the listener.
Not only does Geno appreciate music he’s a athlete too. He enjoys football, basketball, tennis, M.M.A, gymnastics, soccer to name a few. He’s also a personal trainer because he appreciates and believes in a healthy lifestyle and works at staying physically fit. He’s a author with health and fitness books published and for sale on the market. Geno also enjoy art and going out with close friends. He’s a well rounded man with many hats.
