BORN IN THE SMALL CITY PEORIA ILLINOIS, PRENTICE HAS EXPANDED HIS HORIZONS. HE BEGAN RAPPING IN 1994 AND OPENING PERFORMANCES FOR MAIN STREAM ARTIST.
IN YEAR 2004 THE RECORDING ARTIST CREATED A BUZZ IN THE MIDWEST REGION AND SOLD OVER 1000 COPIES OUT OF HIS TRUNK. THIS WOULD LATER CATCH THE ATTENTION OF A&R'S THROUGHOUT NEW YORK CITY.THE YOUNGSTER WAS LOYAL TO BEING UNDERGROUND AND WASN'T QUIET READY TO GO MAINSTEAM, WITH THAT BEING SAID HE DECIDED TO BUILD HIS OWN EMPIRE AND LATER PRODUCED HIS SELF TITLED ALBUM "JUST BE U" ON ITUNES AND HAS ALREADY SOLD MORE THAN 5000 COPIES WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK. WITH ALL OF THE SUCCESS PRENTICE HAS BEEN FORTUNATE TO GET HE TOLD UNDERGROUND MAGAZINE, "I WANT FULL CONTROL WHEN IT COMES TO MY MUSIC" AND PRENTICE HAS DONE JUST THAT.
