Hello, I have been an actor on and off now for nearly 30 years, both on stage and in film. I have also been, and still am a writer, producer, director, and an artist in general.

Plus, I’m starting up an acting workshop for those who want to sharpen their skills. Write me if you’re interested.

I joined up here to find a girl with a very specific look for a short film I am currently producing. In fact, between 2 and 5 women of various ages as the story takes place over a 30 year period of time.

The back story is that our hero, Nik, was smitten by a girl at a sci-fi convention back in the 80’s, partly because she was wearing a replica costume based on Jessica 6 from the movie Logan’s Run. Therefore, in the short film, there is a dream sequence where Nik and the girl are dressed like the characters from the movie.

I need a Jenny Agutter (who played Jessica 6) look-a-like. I'm not looking for a perfect dead-ringer, just a girl I can work with.

The title of the short film is “Don't Go!” a romantic time travel story about redemption and healing.

Production has already begun and the finished film will be entered into the seventh annual Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival being sponsored by SIFF and the Science Fiction Museum! (among others). Additionally, the short film is “proof-of-concept” to attract investment to produce the full length version of the story.

We have begun having general production meetings with auditions at Sanford & Son, near the Pantages in downtown Tacoma across from Tully’s on Broadway. The next meeting is Saturday, March 12, at 2:00 P.M. We will be meeting on the bottom floor, in the room with the big library, accessible through the door on COMMERCE STREET.

The reason I need 3 similar looking women is because the story involves time travel and the female romantic lead appears in her 20’s, her 40’s and then her 60’s.

Only the 20’s version needs to have straight, shoulder length, strawberry, or dirty blond hair. All 3 women must be between 5’7”-5’11” tall and around 145-150 lbs. (exceptions made if you fit the role in other ways).

Shooting resumes Sat April 9th and every available weekend after that (as schedules allow) until we’re done. We promise to feed you lunch that will make you happy you came.

You may look at this and think you don’t fit the role. I invite you to participate anyway as I also have many other roles to cast and you can help me with a number of projects.
