Nina Martynn's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience

About Me: I am currently studying at UC Davis. I am extremely motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic about life and whatever I set my mind to. I am outgoing and flamboyant and expressive. I have a passion for acting and participated in theater since elementary school. I have a lot of experience working and communicating with others and have strong interpersonal skills. I am ready to put my heart into any role or job that I am given the chance to accept!

Short Resume: I recently played the council member Brenda in Hairspray. Hairspray is a high energy, fast paced play that takes a lot of pep and enthusiasm which I have! I love singing and dancing. And although the role was just ensemble I put everything I had into it and was noticed for being engaging and entertaining, as well as, having an ability to maintain character. I feel that this mirrors my strongest trait- the ability and willingness to work hard to constantly improve myself and my characters and put my full energy into any role I'm given. However, I do not just have pep as this year I also played Jane the withdrawn, shy, and innocent eldest Bennet sister. I also have a knack at portraying the crazy and over the top characters as with old woman, over bearing mothers, and alcoholics and I loved playing the character of the sadistic prostitute Cathy in a scene from East of Eden. I have no on screen experience as of yet, but I am looking to obtain some and work hard if given the chance!
