Danielle Kruizenga
About Me: I was born in NYC and grew up in New York and Connecticut. I am a recent honors graduate from the University of Michigan with concentrations in Film and English Literature. Because of my love of performing, I decided to make acting and theatre training a part of my film studies at UM. My acting courses covered everything from improv, scene study, monologue work, theatre performing and on-camera acting technique. To hone in on camera-acting, I took a summer course at the New York Film Academy which emphasized technique, character work, and studied method acting. I've worked with a plethora of esteemed professors and believe I have acquired the skills to take my acting career to the next level.
Short Resume: On TV, I was a reporter and later the host of my own College Advice segment on Newsfeed WOLV-22 Ann Arbor/Detroit. I have acted in many student-directed films and performed on stage in both plays and variety shows (some of which I have also written). My special skills include 3 languages (English, Armenian, French), a plethora of sports, dance (modern, jazz) and improv.
