About Me: My name is Sarah Jean Kubik. I attend Plymouth State University in Plymouth New Hamshire. During my Junior year I decided to transfer to further my career as an actress in New York City. I graduated from Pace University where I earned a BFA in Theater with a concentration in Acting and an in-depth sequence in Musical Theater. I have recently moved to California and am looking to advance my acting career in TV, Film, Theater, Print and Commercial. I acted in my first feature film entitled "One Missed Call." I played a priciple role, the antagonist known as Monster Ellie, undergoing 2 1/2 hour transformation of my blond hair blue-eyed self into a killer. I landed this role only after being out of college 6 months. "One Missed Call" was released into theaters January 4, 2008. It was directed by Eric Valette and produced by Warner Brothers, Alcon Entertaiment, and Kadokawa Pictures USA. I worked with Shannyn Sossamon, Edward Burns, Ana Cluadia Talancon, and Ray Wise. In addition to "One Missed Call" I was givin the role of Mya in the pilot "the Pact" which entered the New York TV Film Festival. Due to a conflict of being a member of SAG I was unable to participate in Filming. I have also made appearences in MTV's The Big Ten and TRL. People Describe me as contientious, social, fun-loving, natural, comedic, quirky, disciplined, and extroverted. Once I convinced a hot dog vendor to let me take over his stand selling more hot dogs and sodas in 30 minutes then the vendor sold in hours! I am determined to succeed. I constantly write sketch comedy and develop character voices with the intention to one day produce my work and perform on shows like SNL and Mad TV. I have had multiple surgeries throughout my life leaving me with many physical scars on my body and growing to be a TALL 4'8" girl. I am unique, independent, bold, and someone who never stops-- even when times get rough. I like to think I am larger than life!
