About Me:
Born and raised in New Albany, MS, Michele began singing at age 12. She was immediately put to work singing solos and received vocal training at church and later in high school, where she briefly studied abroad in England, France and Normandy.
Michele loves to write songs, sing, travel, act and pose for pictures. Although Michele is a recording artist, she has appeared in several local plays. Michele would love to do voiceovers, and to listen to her voice, check out her voiceover page, or you can also go to her musician's page and listen to her music. Her dream is to share her gifts with the world and make a difference in each life that she meets. She would also like to write for gospel artists like Kirk Franklin and Donnie McClurkin. After the death of her father, Michele began writing songs to encourage and inspire others who have witnessed and experienced all forms of tragedy. When writing and singing, Michele receives inspiration from God and her mom.
Short Resume:
Michele earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from Mississippi State University, with an emphasis in French. Michele was a member of several choirs before, during and after college and has shared the stage with artists such as Dr. Bobby Jones, the late Rev. James Moore and the Mississippi Mass Choir. While with the Peter's Rock Temple COGIC Mass Choir, Michele served as a backup vocalist for Evangelist Myrna Summers, Kurt Carr, and as lead soloist, opened for Pastor Marvin Winans.
Michele recently released an EP called "Divine Favor", which was birthed from personal tragedy and is available in online stores including CD Baby and I-Tunes. Since the album's release, Michele has made a number of T.V., radio, magazine and newspaper appearances. Michele also released a dvd of her song, "You Are Appreciated", which also caters to the hearing impaired, and recently returned to Europe, especially London, where she shared her testimony and her music.
