Dancer background: I took beginning ballet classes at the age of 5, but I never continued. I know my positions, and simple things about ballet. At the age of 12, I was in an organization called Kuumba Lynx, which not only focuses on dance but also spoken word, graffiti art, and singing. I focused on Dance, spoken word and beatboxing. We mostly did HipHop, and loved expressing Chicago culture. In dance, I have always loved to Handtutt. Which is a hand dance that is performed to Dubstep music. Influences: My professional instructor Boogie, taught me to love myself as well as others, and I she influenced me very much. Seeing her so focused, and driven by simple issues around her pushes me to be the best!
