About Me: Hello all you cool cats, Rango here. I bring the metalish from Seattle, the Emerald City, and I spread it around from the UK to LA. I'm a retired ballet dancer, a computer programmer, a singer/songwriter, a ReverbNation Seattle top-10 artist, and I'm currently recording bits as one of the villains in an opera called Liberteria. I released Etherati back in February 2011, a 100% solo effort, and I've been on a rocket ever since (burn, baby, burn), with multiple TV & film opportunities and collaborations with artists around the world in the ensuing months. Now I'm finishing up Temple of Zither, my 2012 album, and producer Stuart Epps is mastering the best tracks. Smokehouse, the lead song on the album, was Stuart's gift to me on Christmas Eve and we're kicking off 2012 with it because it's sticky & sweet, with just a touch of heat. Short Resume: Former Microsoft Software Engineer (see below), recently left an engineering job on the core development team at PredixionSoftware.com, a startup on its second round of venture capital developing predictive analysis data visualization tools, to work as an independent artist.

I’m also a writer, musician and graphic artist with a significant web presence. I’m a retired ballet dancer (Houston Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Ballet Austin) and Seattle-area top-10 independent metal guitarist currently recording vocals for an animated opera. With each successive promotional campaign campaign I’ve extended my set of uniquely refined graphical collateral to include deeply textured composites, animated stills, and extremely complex music videos with running narratives that cross from Facebook over to YouTube and back again, all of which I wrote, performed and produced myself. I’m solicited so frequently for video and graphic artwork that I’ve established a sole proprietorship, R.Dogg Media, in order to connect my network of affiliated photographers, musicians and graphic artists with the people that need it the most.

After nearly two decades of programming, I’m looking for work that allows me to leverage the breadth of my talents and contribute comprehensively to application design, graphic arts, and multimedia content.
