Mary Cordova's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience

About Me: I was a step dancer in high school performing at pep rally’s and competitions for two years and sang in the choir for three, where I performed at Disney World and State and Caroling competitions. After attending Barbizon Modeling School, I went on to pursue a singing career taking voice lessons and auditioning for “The China Dolls”. It was a good learning experience performing at the Winter Music Conference in 2001, where I quickly learned that the show really must go on. I’ve learned to compose, write/co-write songs, and record in both English and Spanish thanks to the guidance of Al Perez, member of Freestyle group “Erotic Exotic”. Al and I decided to form a girl group called “Erotic’s Angels”, where we performed at the Y-100 Wing Ding in 2004. I danced in the TV Show “Caliente” and “The Roof” for about a year and played a cheerleader in an Audi commercial and danced in a Bud Light commercial. Being hired as an extra for various projects, including commercials and film, has opened up an interest in me to learn about acting, since it’s the one aspect I know little to nothing about. Although singing and dancing is my passion, I enjoy anything that has to do with entertainment, even as a spectator. I am currently attending seminars to learn more about acting, so that I am better prepared in case an opportunity comes along.
