Recently lost 60 lbs, to improve both my health and my chances with casting (some pics below are before the weight loss).
Short Resume:
Stage experience includes playing Mrs. Cratchit in the musical version of A Christmas Carol, Mrs. Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis, Sister Margaretta in The Sound of Music, Ruth in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, as well as scene characters and chorus roles in opera/musical theatre scenes from four Opera Workshop productions at Philadelphia Biblical University, cast most often as the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro. Recently finished the Newtown Arts Company's production of Into The Woods as Cinderella's Mother (see pics for self-styled hair/makeup look for the role).
Also prepared scripts, directed, produced and accompanied a school version of Peter Pan.
Have 8 years of experience with puppetry, with or without a puppet theatre, and creating character voices for puppets, sometimes switching as many as three characters per scene.
Have 25 years of classical vocal experience, performing as a chorister and/or soloist in Handel's Messiah, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Haydn's Creation, Brahms' Requiem, Verdi's Requiem, Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Rachmaninoff's Vespers and Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, to mention a few. Also enjoy genre-bending into pop, country and jazz. Performable range is E-flat-3 to C-6.
