leyla Phillip's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience
I have a zest for life and a personality that is unique and universal. I get along with everybody and all types of people. I enjoy making sure that everyone around me is having fun and enjoying themselves includng those who might not have gotten up on the dance floor had I not encouraged them to do so. I am told that I am "approachable" which I take as a compliment. I enjoy myself wherever I am. I have the ability to build relationships in seconds and I am very versatile in that way regardless of the target audience. I have been in sales for most of my adult life so I consider that to be my acting resume in which I go on auditons every single day because all of my customers are different people with different needs, personalities, and problems to solve so when I enter the room or office to greet my customers I consider that to be my audition or curtain call. I am silly, I am loads of fun and I love to laugh and make others laugh. I have an uncanny ability to say things that others might not say and turn those subjects into very humorous moments which then allows those around me to also laugh at subjects or stories that they would have never laughed at had I not been the one to deliver it. People from various backgrounds can relate to me and I always find that connection or bridge in my interactions with people who are different than I which makes me very diverse and marketable in any environment. The material that I have written on my own speaks to ksome of my trials and tribulations that I have experienced. Being almost 40, divorced, single, and the mother of two kids, I find that the stories and experiences that I have encountered are not unique but rather common and I have the personality and style to talk about it. When I am on stage talking about life and how I take my "30 seconds" when encountering adversity, and how I am able to turn that adversity into humor which helps me make it through, I feel at home. The audience is very engaged because they too can relate in some way. I truly feel that there is a place for people entering into their 40's who have hopes and dreams and that taking a chance and believing in oneself means that it is never to late to try. I am the person that you want at your party, I am the person that you want at your event, I am the person that you want to represent your product, I am the person that you want on your show. People can relate to a divorced women, who works fulltime, has kids, and manages to smile, laugh and have a fun. I call that Moxie. I am looking forward to every opportunity that I have to work in the entertainment industry and help your business be a success and I am thanking you ahead of time for the job. So, when do I start?
