Leslie Jones's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience
I am in the Chicago & Milwaukee area this summer. One of my more unusual gigs was when I was chosen from thousands of tapes to perform on JENNY JONES 10TH ANNIVERSARY TALENT SHOW. I was not competing in a category, but was billed as a professional segue act. The show was taped on one day but aired on two different broadcasts. JENNY JONES had requested that I perform my original JOHN TRAVOLTA dance, inspired by his signature dance in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER. I was asked to do another act of my choice for the second episode. On impulse, I threw a blond wig and spandex dress into my bag, (who hasn't?), and on the way to the show, created a new character, called BABETTE. At the end of Babette's act, she does her trick. Going into a backbend, she picks a glass up with her teeth. She rises slowly, drinking the beverage with her hands out to her sides. I recently learned that the feat would put me in the top athlete leagues. Raising my wonderful children took precedence over the years. But, they are adults now, and I am ready to get back to entertaining.
My stage play; WHAT, NO BACON? won the Grand prize in the Co. for WI Arts Playwright Competition. Several of my children's plays have also been produced.
Some acting roles include;
UNSOLVED MYSTERIES Mom/Lead Talman Family Ghost
UNSOLVED MYSTERIES Dancer Resurrection Mary
Laura/What, No Bacon?
Smeraldina/Servant of Two Masters
Emily/The Evolution of Emily
Rose Mary/Abie's Irish Rose
