About Me: Kirkland Bodie Jr but I go better by my stage name Kirkstar Born on Feb 8th, 1991 in Nassau Bahamas. I came to America at a young age to pursue my dream in music as well as modeling and acting which ever path I take I will conquer all and not by words but by my focus and hard work.

Born in the islands of the Bahamas, Kirkstar (Kirkland Bodie Jr) an energetic and talented young man born on February 8th, 1991, was raised in New Providence one of the smallest islands in the Bahamas. He was brought to America by his Father Kirkland Bodie Sr, after finishing his 7th grade year and lived with his grandmother. Music and dance have always been apart of the Bahamian culture and as such Kirk brought the love for the two to America with him where it stayed close to his heart. Growing up Kirk was always a curious, creative, and independent child. He wrote his first lyrics at the age of 14, rewriting the song of one of his favorite artists. While attending Miramar High School at the age of 16 his curiosity won out again and he started to take notice of hip hop dance. Influenced by the people he saw around him as well as celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Omarion and Usher his passion for dancing took shape. As the years passed Kirk's abilities in singing, songwriting, and dancing had greatly improved. He now wants to show the world that he's different from any other artist out there. His drive in doing what he does is not just because he loves it but because of his strong love for his family. Kirkstar is an artist who learns and evolves himself through music, the more he learns the more he grows. No matter where this journey takes him he will always remember where he came from.
