Kim Martin's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience

About Me: I am a 44 year old WVa native who has always dreamed of being a model and actress. In 2005, I moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I am currently working as a Pharmacy Technician at the local pharmacy in Hatteras Village. I have competed in pageants since the age of 6 and have held many titles locally,statewide,and nationally.
I have also always had a desire to help the less fortunate peole of the world. As such, I started an organization in 2006 called The Hands of Love. When I moved to Hatteras Island , I saw first hand the long-lasting devastation caused by hurricanes and a poor economy. My organization helps provide food, clothing, money for medications etc.to the needy both locally and abroad. Last year, Hands of Love beacame a partner with Grace Fellowship of Kenya providing needed aid to the poor of this country.
In November 2010, I held the first annual Hands of Love benefit Pageant for the local girls of the community which was a huge success. All proceeds raised went right back to helping with the needs of the people. The communitys responded very positively and in 2011, the numver of contestants increased substatially! I hope to continue these pageant and eventually expand participation to include other communities as well.
