About Me: Born and raised in Philadelphia , PA, Ms. Trina has always had musical and acting aspirations. Starting from junior high school, too shy to sing, Ms. Trina joined the band and excelled with playing the trumpet and other "C" instruments. Progessing to dancing for local rap groups in the late 80's and becoming a lyricist, then later finding her voice where Ms. Trina was featured in a gospel play produced by the Mount Airy Church of Christ name "Bend Don't Break" in 1996. Ms. Trina sang background and had the pleasure of singing a short solo and acting as one of the jurors during the play. In 2010 was requested to sing a Sandals Resorts Specialist travel agent event in Nassau Bahamas. Then in October 2011 Ms. Trina sang at the Parx Casino in Northeast Philly singing Alicia Keys "Fallen" and later in December sang her rendition of Jill Scott's song He Loves Me for the This Mic Is Hot competition in Philly. In May 2012 Ms. Trina sang at the after party for the movie premiere "Changing The Game" starring Tony Todd aka Candyman. In June 2012, Ms. Trina wowed the crowd, impromptu style, as she was asked to sing with the Marcell Bellinger Quintet at the Susquehanna Bank Center Spot Light Cafe in Camden, NJ. Ms. Trina is a sultry soulful singer and can write lyrics for R&B, Jazz and Gospel genre's. Currently, Ms. Trina is a self published songwriter who also works with a short film company, Dezaim Productions and is featured on the funniest show on youtube " The R&T Show where she explores her funny acting talent as well.
