Justin Barfield's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience
My ultimate dream is to become a star no matter what. I'm willing to do WHATEVER it takes to succeed and excel in whatever I'm fit to do. I have unconditional faith and I believe that God will steer me in the right direction to achieve my dreams. TRUE passion for stardom and fame has been instilled in me since I was a young boy. I remember the days when I would watch TV and say, "Mommy I can do that!!!!!!" Coming from such a small town, it seemed impossible to even have my dreams within reach to the natural eye, but everyone who knows me can tell you that I'm completely eccentric and will drive to make ANYTHING possible. Due to my bright outlook on life and positive attitude I've achieved much thus far, but I believe that dreams should'nt have limits....and mine definently don't have limits!!!!! I look foward to working with the best of the best for the rest of my life. I have several backup plans which are realistic to have, but I made an ultimatum to myself.................SUCCEED HARD OR GO HOME............which means I'm NEVER gonna give inspite of rejections, negativity, or betrayal. SUCCESS IS MINE!!!!!!!
I've had a bit of experience for the field of entertainment that I would like to enter.....I've done quite a few school and community productins: (in order according to date) My 8th grade year I participated in "Sadako and the 1,000 Cranes" I played a musician and I played various handheld instruments. Throughout high school: 9th grade-"South Pacific" I played Commander William "Bill" Harbison, 10th grade-"Grease" I played a school kid/nerd/dancer, in a community production called "Come By Here Lord" I played a 17-year breadwinner named Josh, in 11th grade-"Beauty and the Beast" I played a the bookseller/ mobster(villager), currently in 12th grade-"Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" I'm playing one the suitors named Jeb.
I've had training with the art of acting through Drama class my 10th grade year with my Drama teacher Mrs. Alsept....our concentration included the following: movement (mime), characterization, voice, blocking, stage direction, make-up, various acting styles, Stanislavoski method, Melodrama, Stage combat, sword play, improvisation, directing, performance, orgins of drama, dance pre-done, classical/medieval/renaissance drama, commedia dell' arte, stock characters, production, contracts, resources, programs/publications and set design.
A few years later I sparked intrest for a talent agency called Barbizon International Inc or ICE. Our concentration was modeling training, acting training, personal development, and preparation for a bright future. Barbizon taught me alot and I made some great friends there who also have the same strong desire to excel. Throughout the process of Barbizon we were given special tasks every week, but one of our main task was to complete what was called a Model Magic Magazine. I had one of the best entries and recieved the award for 1st place out of 200 plus people and recieved free Barbizon souviners. Later that year I made the cut to attend the IMTA Discovery Cruise for adventurous yet business event in which I had to compete in several acting events against people of my age group from all over world. In my division which was Teen Talent, I recieved 3rd place out of about 40 or more participants.
I plan to widely expand my resume within the next few years and express a new type of success throughout my everyday life!!!!!
