Musician Information: Genre: R&B, Soul Born in Houston, Tx. raised in San Francisco, Ca. Eric Broussard grew in a Family where music came naturally. His Father and Mother raised him and his 6 siblings in church (COGIC) where he and his older siblings were members of the church choir; This is where he started to develop his natural talent as a vocalist and instrumentals, at the age 6 his Mother bought his first drum set and later he played for the church in Tx. and in Ca.. His interest in music was behind the scenes and behind his drum set; In his teenage years he played in clubs and sang backup vocals, his talent was put to use working with some big name artists and ptoducers; By him being comfortable behind the scenes and his drums is where he stayed. He was not interested in coming to the front line with his smooth R&B vocals, but when he does his R&B vocals are capable of giving the ears the attention that they deserves. At age 9 put up to do lead vocals in a talent show with 2 of his siblings ages 17 and 15, to lead a Michael Jackson song ( I WANT YOU BACK ) not only did they win the contest; They moved the crowd as he continued with his music and special gift of song writing and his vocals skills Eric Broussard has over the years stayed focused on his gifts he began performing in many shows over the entire San Francisco, and Oakland and surrounding areas, he has and continues to amaze the people with the sweet and soul feeling sounds of his music, Eric Broussard also work with a lot of different singers, songwriters, Producers. Now in San Francisco, Bay Area.
