Musician Information: Sunday, September 17th, 1989, Douglas J. Stephen II presently known as Lega-C, was born. Starting his education at what is now known as NECCO, and constantly switching through Lawrence public schools such as The Storrow, Emily. G Wetherbee (before construction), and Robert Frost school, Lega-C went on to graduate at the Greater Lawrence Technical school, class of 08'. Not only was he doubted to graduate by family relatively close, Lega-C graduated a superbowl champ on the G.L.T.S football team, and was expected to fall into the career of Electrical since he had studied it for 4 years. Not too long after graduation, Lega-C felt the need for change and quit the long awaited career of Electrical, pursuing none other than the career he wanted... Hiphop. Hiphop had always been a dream of Lega-C 's, dating back as far as 6th grade on 9/11. Starting with poetry and stacks of papers full of lyrics, Lega-C was introduced to soundclick. After visiting such a website with an outstanding source of influential beats, Lega-C was hooked. Writing so much as up to about 50 songs, never recorded. When Lega-C was 16 years old, at the end of Sophomore year it seemed like graduating had slipped from his grasp after being tossed out on the street. Not knowing where to go, one of Lega-C's closest cousins had taken him in. After being welcomed into the graces of his cousin, Lega-C continued to struggle through Junior year constantly going to school and work. It seemed high school was just a lost cause, but with the help of many caring friends, family and relentless educators, Lega-C prevailed as a high school graduate in 2008. When Lega-C was 19 years old, he was finally able to pump out 10 recorded songs through the one and only E.C.F. Entertainment, 8 which are displayed on this page. Now at 20 years old, Lega-C currently resides in the state of Maine, working consistently and creatively on his mixtape expected to be recorded this year, 2010. The mixtape will be recorded in South Lawrence through E.C.F. Entertainment with the help of the 2 mastermind dj's, J Boogz and Dj Shyne. Though the mixtape is not scheduled for a specific date release, Lega-C plans to return to his hometown Lawrence, MA to flood the streets with his music and successfully climb to the top of the hiphop charts. Making what was once a dream, REALITY!!!!
