Our current drummer has departed. on good terms, but, drat.
This is an art punk/wave/folk/indie band
We have played shows and festivals with: The Decemberists, Deerhoof, The Bangs, Gossip, Hot Hot Heat, Shoplifting, Old Haunts, The Makers, Laura Veirs, Melt Banana, Degenerate Art Ensemble, Fruit Bats, Okkerville River, C Average.....a bunch other I can't remember right now
We are influenced by: The Slits, Feelies, Clash, Mission of Burma, Family Fodder, Buzzzcocks, The Evens, Menomena, Kinks, Joy Division, Television, Television Personalities, Gray Matter, Wipers, Sonic Youth, and a bunch more
We have male female vocals, in a similar vein to X.
Ideally, you are sane, good natured, employed, can drive some if we tour, motivated, political and not a complete drunk or drug fiend.
We are 'successful', have been around for years, played KEXP 3 times, and work hard but don't take ourselves overly seriously or lose site of a band being fun and foremost about hanging out with friends.
