Seeking both an African-American woman in her 30′s and an African-American girl around 11 years-old to portray a mother and daughter re-enacting a medical scenario regarding the daughter not wanting to go to school due to health issues.
Both mom & daughter will be in a physicians office explaining her concerns. Daughter should be a bit shy at first, especially since she is at the doctors office.
Shoot date will be on Friday, July 26th at Cornell Medical School on the Upper East Side. This is done for the American Pediatrics Association and will only be shown internally to medical students for educational purposes.
Pay will be around $300-$400 for the days shoot and it is non-union
In order to be considered for this, I would need the actress to submit a self-taped audition via email .
Please note that we are casting off of the audition tapes. They dont have to be fancy or memorized, but we need to get a good sense of ones acting ability. Deadline to submit is this July 20th.
