Daniel Taylor's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience

About Me: Daniel J. Taylor is an up and coming actor from South Philadelphia who recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time career in the business.

Daniel's knack for entertainment began at a young age, where he and a fellow classmate in grammar school would put on a variety show of sorts for their fellow students, often impersonating celebrities as well as teachers in the school.

This love to entertain continued into high school, where Daniel and other friends took part in a series of "mockumentary" type videos, creating characters and lampooning the professional wrestling industry. During this time, Daniel also took an interest in music, and began performing in several local bands as a guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and vocalist (though this admittedly is not one of his strong points). Daniel continued playing bass for the band Tremor for 5 years, in the midst of which is love for acting re-emerged. This led him to the Walnut Street Theatre (the oldest theater in America) where he studied for several years under Jose Aviles, the head of the education department. Daniel also took part in many short films, both for recreation, and for entries in film festivals.

In time, Daniel felt the need to move his talents into a larger pool, first getting a taste for Los Angeles attending a summer program at Universal Studios with the New York Film Academy. After returning home to Philadelphia for one year, Daniel decided to make the move permanent, and relocated out west, where he currently studies under Hank Azaria and Joel Bishoff.

With a combination of his kind personality, evolving talents, and unflappable professionalism, Daniel J. Taylor is bound to be a success and a pleasure in the film industry for years to come.
