As you know, celebrity artists schedules fluctuate in unexpected ways. Due to scheduling conflicts, some of the artists could not attend all at the same time. Therefore, the concert date has had to be changed by the concert promoters and now, because of the holidays, everyone has been out of town and the concert promoters could not confirm all of the artists for the next available date. As soon as we get the word from the concert promoters, we will update it online.
ExploreTalent.com in conjunction with Musician1.com’s 'ExploreTalent Idol' contest has extended its submission date to the 19th of November due to the SummerFest 2009 concert (now being called the Pandemonium Tour) being pushed back because of hurricane warnings in the Miami area. While Vision Entertainment Worldwide, the sponsors of the Pandemonium Tour, has now firmed the new date for the concert to be held on Wednesday, November 25th 2009.
The winner(s) will still be flown to the luxurious Eden Roc Hotel, where they will be put up in two rooms for two nights. The winner(s) will take the stage at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, where they will perform a total of three songs to kickoff the Pandemonium concert. The winner(s) will open up for urban icons T-Pain, Keri Hilson, Fabolous, The Dream, Trey Songz, Kid Cudi, Jay Sean, Mavado, to name a few. *The overall value of the prize package is estimated in the upwards of $250,000 (value of public relations campaign, extensive media relations, email campaign and ongoing promotion for the winning performer after the event).
The ‘ExploreTalent Idol’ contest will also still continue their daily prizes for the voters as well. Every day ExploreTalent.com picks the “Daily Cash Winner” in which one lucky voter wins $100 just for voting for a contestant and following the results on ExploreTalent’s Twitter site. Those same voters who follow the contest on Twitter have a chance to win the $1,000-$2,000 Grand Prize at the end of the contest as well. So for all the talent out there that hasn’t signed up yet, there is still time to make your musical debut; and for all the existing contestants, there are now a handful of extra weeks to get more of your votes in. All competing performers/groups must upload a music video or MP3 of one of their songs to Explore Talent’s website and fit within the urban music genre (R&B, Hip-Hop or Rap). So, stop what you're doing and get your music in to us before the contest officially ends on November 19th. You could very well be the first ExploreTalent Idol Winner ever! This is the event of the year not to be missed!!!
