Musician Information: I'm a singer/writer I've written quite a few songs and am still working on rewriting my book; it's no more than 200 pages and maybe will turn out to be less when I've finished with it. I've been looking for a band for quite a while and my biggest problem has been vocal melody. I haven't found a band that is willing to do my original material or a band with an ideal chord progression of which I could figure out a vocal melody, but it's not always the chord progression that's the problem; it's the key... It's easier if the instrument parts and the arrangement would be written/created around the songs I have created. Don't get me wrong; I am totally willing and thrilled to write lyrics to any song as long as it's ideal for my voice.
Influences: Evanescence has made the biggest impression on my style lyrically and vocally. Avril Lavigne is a strong second.
