Bret Corey's Modeling Jobs, Acting Auditions and Additional Experience

About Me: To start off with my family blood line is a tree of talent that I come from, talents history and achievements have been wide ranged, just to name a few. There was a vice president of the United States in my family George M Dallas, The invention of the Elevator, The classic 1970's Coca-Cola song "I'd Like To Buy The World A Coke" and my Grandfather built the Blue Tale Fly one of the best war planes of the korean war for sweep runs built out of two planes that had crashed into each other and were to be pushed off the ship before being spliced together and fixed to fly again. Lots of Talent in my family, I have heard I even have a cousin that is also an actor. As for me I was named after a funny car driver so I was pretty much born into drag racing and other
motor sports through the years. I have been on the cover of newspapers before, one with a full front page spread, Lodi California back in 1989. I drove my car up on stage with the Beach Boys at a car show when I was 5 years old and won my own award for the car. In 1993 I won a contest at school ment for people twice my age & 3 times my own grade drawing
the front cover of a book called Brain Storm, over all I have always had a lot of creativity
and a lot to offer in talent. In 1st grade I knew I wanted to be an Actor. As a kid I moved around and grew up all over northern california. Mostly small towns. At one point my family had a small chunk of land with mini pigs goats ducks geese and a horse.
When I was 8 years old I traveled all the way to Malaysia to surprise my dad for Easter,
so I have been international and I miss seeing some of it. Some people are rappeled by the thought that I grew up in group homes, but it was in the end for my own helth of protection from life with my mother. As I grew up in group homes for 4 years people miss understood why I was there and how to help me because I was wrongfully place in group homes to start with and was labled as the problem when after 6 therapist it was diagnosis that my mother was the issue all along. Thus I've been told I probly have some sort of degree in psychology after all I learned.
Ages 10 to 14 I remember people who said they bet I would become an Actor some day,
and that they would put money on it to see me on the big screen or TV some day. I say
there is no better acting training then harsh reality to use Acting at such a young age as
survival tools to both fool and entertain people enough to ender the hard times and open
the eyes of others to something more real. Through the years of my life most people
thought of me as a young Tom Cruise growing up, and it stuck with me to later bring me
to acting. And I
still love the art of acting and directing.

I am a big film buff.... And I will focus on Acting as long as I can. I enjoy singing and
plan to start making my own films with a friend at some point in time in the near future.
My roll will be as an Angel in one film and a Knight in the other film. Staring and
Directing in both films to come along side my good friend who is working on the films
with me.
To clear the air I am not in any way related to Tom Cruise so far as I know, even though I
would love to work with him some day as I have learned a lot from him and have admired
a lot of his work through the years.... Days of Thunder and Top Gun are great films I love
as well as others. But it is strange for me to watch his films some times because at times I
get the strange feeling of watching my self on screen when I know it is not me. My Father
says that the movie Good Will Hunting reminds him of my life though.
To sum me up I am a hopeless romantic playful kid at heart who likes fast cars, Oldies,
games, action and sci fi movies, romantic comedies and films with an epic feel or story. I
tend to be a quiet person on the out side but take in a lot and am very out spoken when
need be, people describe me as a deep caring person with a lot of talent. I have been to
many car shows in my life building hot rods with my father through the years and have
even met my share of well known people both in acting and the auto world. More then ten
I would say. So I have been around a few blocks and back you could say.
And I hope to keep building on my life and my dreams in Acting. Film is about opening
the eyes and hearts of others, touching them and showing them a world or story they get
both lost captivated and moved. Telling a story you can not help but love. That is what
film is to me. As an Actor this is what I hope to show and keep showing people for years
to come. If you are looking for a person of star quality and a wide range of talent, then you found me. And to top it off I look a lot like one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. Only I am a bit taller then him. lol

Short Resume: I have been studying the techniques of other actors acting for over 20 years. My skill sets have included Little league baseball, Softball, basketball, football, soccer, ice skating, racquetball, tennis, team swiming, volleyball & snow skiing. Motor Sports, Dag Racing, Sprint Cars, Hot Rods & Hot Boats. Over all to be technical about acting, I have been involved with Acting for at least the last 18 years on my own, but never got to really have the chance to focus in on Acting until 2005. Acting is my true passion and my dream, all others were sports or hobbys that are just skills and experience now.

Acting is not my only main talent though! I can sing like Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20. I love both arts, but I have had a better time and better drive of desire to do Acting and work with the people I grew up admiring on screen. I started acting in college in 2005 as I said before and did a play called (IPHIGENIA IN AULIS by Euripides) playing the roll of Patroclus, Achilles friend and subed for the roll of Paris the prince who killed Achilles due to no other person matching the roll. I helped with another play called Autobahn in the same year, I did the light and sound for that and was offered a job to keep doing it.Then in 2008 I moved down to LA with a friend for a short time after being offered the chance and helped with the first season of Sons Of Anarchy a well known TV show on FX.

I always wanted to find the Chance to work on the TV show Smallville, so when I met director Terrence O'Hara on SOA it made me even more happy to be there because director Terrence told me he did the first 6 seasons of Smallville. So I thought that was cool how things kind of came together like that. I met a lot of great people on Sons Of Anarchy both cast and crew doing that and learned a lot about filming on the go. From then on I moved back to northern CA past Sacrament where I have spent most of my time just networking and trying to build my future in acting and get to know new people and start new film projects.

My goal is to learn as much as I can from all the people I work with to become the best Actor / Director in film I can be by being over all well rounded in film both as an Actor or other wise. My being greater will help others to be great and do greater things, so help me to help you.

With that said, don't underestimate the things I can or will do. Remember amateurs built Noah’s Arc and professionals built the Titanic. As far as I see it, I have a lot of the same talents some major stars do, I however just have not showcased all my talents yet.

While I hope to add more to my resume in the future, unless I am able to have a more steady substantial enough film income I ask if accommodations can be made for travel while I help with films people need me for, transportation and or stay depending on film locations would be of great help.... I am willing to travle, I just need to know where, what time and at what cost as well if the people calling me are truly serious about my time. Thus rate of payment that would cover such things like travle stay and so on would help knowing that you are as serious as I am. If I submitted for a casting it is because I am truly interested in you looking for me to help you cast the best person for the project you have in need of an actor. I know Travle and stay can happen from the time I spent in LA, so I am open to talking it over and willing to do what I can and what I need to do for it to happen. I am very much looking forward to hearing from you in the future about the Films / TV Shows and other projects we will make together!

Knowing if I could aford to pay my way through hollywood 10 years ago there is so much more I would have done already. But as it stands I don't come from money and would love to get past being better payed for my time to do somthing I would do for free if I could given more opportunities. However I know doing acting for free is not the way it works to keep doing it. Over all there is still much more to learn about me in time. I am the guy you have been looking for. So lets make some films come together! :)

Book me, cast me, pay me and show me where my mark is and I am there for as long as the film needs me! Lets do it! I have the passion, I know I have a great deal of know how, I just need the resources backing the right opportunities for me to show it.
