Synopsis:
The Carousel is a Poetry Based Musical Stage Play written-directed-scored by Herbert Bowen's a featured dancer in Drumline and Stomp the Yard. The Carousel is about Cierra, a creative young lady who just can't seem to live up to her full potential. The final draw comes when unable to complete an important task Cierra is transported to a magical place called "The Carousel "the place where unfulfilled dreams go. While exploring "The Carousel" Cierra meets Ma Stanza and the other inhabitants who teach her how to finish what she starts, to believe in her dreams and fight for her voice in the world. But before Cierra can return home she'll have to outwit an entire poetry slam team with her poetry and rhyming skills in the battle of her life.
