A man wakes up in the bridal suite on the morning of his wedding day to find a scantily clad girl in bed beside him. Before they can sort out what's happened, the bride-to-be arrives to dress for the wedding. In the ensuing panic, the girl is locked in the bathroom. The best man is persuaded to claim the unknown girl as his date, but meanwhile, the chamber maid arrives and he thinks this is the unknown girl, and he introduces her as his date instead. The crisis escalates to nuclear levels as the mother of the bride and the best man's real girlfriend arrive, provoking waves of laughter.
Auditions for plays are cold readings from the script. No monologue is needed. Just show up. No appointment needed. You do NOT need to come to both audition dates.
The rehearsal schedule will normally involve three or four weekday evenings and possibly some weekends. The dates will be adjusted to accommodate cast schedules where possible. Please come prepared to report your possible conflicting dates. Please bring a current resume and headshot with you, if you have one, to be used by MCP on your audition form.
