Detroit based backup vocal singing group, Blue Gardenia, is seeking Female and Male Vocalists

Auditions will soon be held for additional backup singers for well known local recording artist, Jazz and Gospel singer, Ange Smith
accompanied by legendary jazz pianist,Charles Boles.

We are looking for congenial people who will participate for the love of music.

Requirements:

Punctuality and dependability are essential.

Must have a good ear and sing on pitch.

Must be able to blend as one voice with other vocalists.

Must be willing to accept critiques and view this as an opportunity to fine tune your craft.

You need not be a professional but must be serious about the music.

Must be willing to have fun while you work.


We are an amiable and mature group seeking singers over the age of 39, who have their own transportation and can attend practice in Detroit. once a week.

There will be several exciting opportunities to perform, once the hard work is done and the group has a tight blend.
